The Dealhack Nurse Discount Guide is the result of our quarterly survey of brands that offer exclusive freebies and discounts to nurses and other healthcare workers. These people serve as front liners in the fight against COVID-19, and we highly appreciate their efforts.
The list is broken down into 14 categories and serves as the ultimate reference guide for discounts for healthcare professionals. Every three months, we independently verify each item on this list. You can save this guide in PDF form so you can use it and access it anytime from your phone or computer.
Unless specified otherwise, the discounts listed in this guide are available to registered nurses (RN), licensed practical nurses (LPN), nurse practitioners (NP), associate nurses, student nurses, and emergency nurses. Always bring your valid nurse ID whenever you go shopping, because some stores may be offering informal discounts.

So why are all these discounts only cater to Rns? Lpns and cans work harder than any?I just want to know .
Thank you.
Hi Margauex!
We are also looking for discounts exclusive to Licensed Practical Nurses, Clinical Nurse Specialists, and more. So far the discounts we found are for Registered Nurses, but we are willing to expand this list as soon as we find more discounts! Thanks for asking!
Plz do because LPNs are required to have a license also and make up 60% of long term care facilities
I am a Respiratory Therapist and I have been working with these patients more than the nurses since day 1. Why do people think that its just nurses and doctors? The RT is a “lung nurse” if you want to sum us up. Just as much college and sometimes more than an RN. I understand that you are helping by posting awesome help for Healthcare professionals. I’m not trolling, I just see this everywhere and I wish people would spread the word that the RT is the one caring for these respiratory virus patients, as well. We are a team with the nurses. The doctors aren’t even in the units the majority of the time. LOL.
Totally agree! and the laboratory professionals that are diagnosing the patients.
Us RNs know that is the truth, and the RT exposure is high risk with initiating vents, treatments etc. you guys definitely deserve the love, and I lots of us nurses have been saying that for sure. I hope people understand you guys are key during this time, especially. Be safe!
You are correct! Thank you for always being there! RT’s are usually the ones who adjust the settings on the vents, they are there when they are intubated and extubated, they give they patients their breathing treatments. Without them we couldn’t do it!!! We are all a TEAM!!! Thank you
Thanks for speaking up. I’m a Rad tech and they have been sending us the patients for CT lung scan and Chest Xrays BEFORE even testing the them here ! I have not stopped working since day one and have been seeing way more patients than RN’s. Most all COVID patients are not admitted to hospitals unless in respiratory distress. So we are seeing the masses! I get frustrated as well at all the nurse benefits when lab, radiology and respiratory are the first diagnoser’s who see ALL positive patients. We all matter but sheesh it’s about time everyone knows what we do too.
Speaking as a Respiratory Therapist, WE ARE NOT LUNG NURSES!!! You should be ashamed for even saying that Jen Myers. I’m sorry, but I am a cardiopulmonary specialist. I am not a nurse. I respect and love my nurses, but I will never refer to myself as a nurse, and as a respiratory therapist, you shouldn’t either. However, I agree with you that I am extremely frustrated with everyone giving out discounts to nurses. I am appalled that only doctors and nurses get recognition for everything, when we know that simply isn’t the case. The first person to be called stat is a respiratory therapist! I assure you, if any of these people ever have a problem breathing, they will learn very quickly who takes care of them at that time.
so your saying you do more then the nurses ??? I am a nurse and i will say yes you do your part but nurses are with patients 24/7 as well as CNAs … RTs spend 30 mins with a patient and move on. we are with them for 10-12 hour shifts every single need is met by nurses i feel personally offended by this I appreciate every single healthcare worker but to attack nurses b/c your angry about a discount WOW
same goes for CNAs
More college than an RN?
I mean thank you for what you do but it’s not the right explanation. We will always continue to recognize RTs and all they do.
RNs and RT work side by side with Covid patients
RTs spend just minutes a shift with the “covid pts” vs 12H (& sometimes more) in full PPE & exposure to covid droplets. (Besides other not glamorous ‘fluids & wounds’.
LPNs only go to school for 1 yr vs the 2 or 4 yrs RN w/a degree. The RN has to supervise & be accountable for many skills, meds, & other things LPNs are not allowed to do – (thus the RN’s license is on the line for them).
Yes, RTs & LPNs are valuable, just letting you know some true reasons RNs are thanked.
RTs, LPNs, a long w/PTs, OTs, & other ancillary support personnel are included in many discounts- they are listed as “healthcare” discounts.
Agreed!!!
It’s the same thing. An LPN and LVN are a nurse. It is just more common for people to think of a higher degree RN since that is what most of the public sees most of the time. I am an RN, BSN clinical supervisor and most of my LVN staffed is phenomenal and I would never trade them for anything. If you went to purchase off this list I would be willing to bet that you could as well. It has nothing to do with hard work – it is a title. You should think about acquiring your RN license Margauex. Just think about it-a mere $5 more an hour working a full time schedule is an extra $12,000 a year…then you won’t have to worry about the wording on discount codes for nurses either. 🥇🏆
Any car dealers offering discounts for RN’s? I found the first responders list.
Thank you

Thank you so much for posting this list. What a fabulous jumping point! I would love to see these that include other healthcare workers requiring a license that are in the front lines. I am a radiology technologist and although we see nearly everyone in the hospital, (breathing problems, video swallows, surgery, stroke, heart attack, code blue, stomach issues, pain clinics, fluoroscopy, all line placements…. you name it, we see it. Not just broken bones.) we rarely get the same benefits outside the hospital that nurses do.
Okay thank you !! We would really appreciate it

I love this site- Wish I had found it earlier and thanks for putting it together!
Just one thing- nothing about the site, but don’t you find it ironic that there is no health insurance discount for healthcare professionals??? Kinda funny.
Wow, this is amazing! As a nurse, I’m always looking for ways to save money, and this list of discounts is incredibly helpful. Thank you for putting it together and sharing it with us! 😊
