Don’t Spend a Lot to Read a Lot
Typically, owning an eReader requires purchasing digital copies of books even if you already own the paper copy. You don’t have to shell out as much as the cost of a physical book when you shop Kobo’s selection. At the core of Kobo’s online library is to offer content to people everywhere at different price points. Right on the website’s front page, you’ll see different categories that allow you to save. Find eBooks marked down to as much as 80% off and free eBooks. You can even limited-time discounts on certain genres and authors. You can also access magazines and borrow works from others’ libraries to read without spending a dime. All your books are available wherever you go. This means you can read on your eReader, your phone, or your desktop computer.

Those who are frequent shoppers at Kobo will want to maximize their eBook library as well as their savings while shopping for new titles. That’s where the Kobo Super Points Program comes in handy. Members of this program earn points with every purchase. Every $10 you spend is another 100 points. Those points can be redeemed for more than one million different book titles available on the Kobo site. Want to earn more points faster, or perhaps have a larger desire to buy books? Shoppers can choose to upgrade to VIP membership and earn double the points (200 per every $10 spent). VIP members also get an automatic 10% off of every order, as well as one free eBook each year.
Kobo on Social Media
What better way to find out about the latest book releases and the hottest news in the literary world than to stay tuned into social media? Kobo combines shoppers’ love of reading with the ever-updated world of the Internet. The social media accounts share literary details, events, and updates. On Facebook, Kobo posts inspirational posts from authors and famous quotes from well-known novels. You’ll also enjoy seeing news about the Kobo library. Discover fan or reader articles sharing books that share lives, change lives or even inspire action.
Twitter, for Kobo, features those same posts. Fans of the retailer are encouraged to share their posts and tag the brand. YouTube is a wonderful place to discover so much more about Kobo and its eReader world. You can watch videos promoting the different types of Kobo eReaders, detailing their features with how-tos. Connecting With Customer Service
There are just a few ways to get ahold of a customer service representative at Kobo. Contact their team by phone or by submitting an online ticket. Their goal is to minimize the various ways people can reach out to the customer service team. Kobo ensures that all questions and requests come through these two channels only. Give their team a call at 1-800-368-5390 any day of the week. Call from 9 AM to 9 PM, or go ahead and fill out the ticket form online. Can’t wait for a representative to get back to you? Go ahead and try finding a quick solution on the company’s help page. There, you’ll find guides to help you troubleshoot your Kobo eReaders. You can also walk through the steps to make changes to your account or your eBook library.
When you purchase an eBook, there’s no need to wait for your order to arrive. It’ll be delivered to your Kobo account immediately. However, when you make a Kobo purchase that includes an eReader or physical device, you will have to take into account some shipping time. All orders ship via one of two Canadian post options: Canada Post, which takes about 10 days to deliver, or Purolator, which takes just five days. Customers can order eReaders as long as their delivery address is in Canada, the U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, or the United Kingdom. Most orders will make it to your delivery address within seven to 10 days after you receive your order shipment notification via email.
Once you’ve purchased an eBook through Kobo, you cannot return a book once it’s been downloaded and delivered to your library. However, if you aren’t happy with your Kobo eReader once it arrives, you can initiate a return. Kobo allows returns within 30 days of your original purchase date. Just make sure you ship back your eReader in its original packaging and without any use or damage, and send a tracking number for the return to Kobo’s customer service team. While Kobo won’t refund you the cost of shipping your item back to headquarters, you will receive a full refund to your method of purchase as soon as your item makes its way back to Kobo.
