About Etihad Airways
Etihad Airways (Etihad for short) is an airline company that operates out of the United Arab Emirates. It is, in fact, that country’s national airline. It was established by Royal Decree in July of 2003 and commenced operations in November of the same year. With flights going out to various countries in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Europe, the Americas, and the Middle East, Etihad has grown to become the second-largest airline in its host country and the third-largest in the Middle East. It is a flag carrier of the UAE. Its headquarters is located in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi.
How to Book a Flight With Etihad
You can book a flight with Etihad through your travel agent, a third-party website that sells airline tickets, by visiting its local office near you, or through its online site. The most convenient of all these, of course, is the last one. To book a flight online, simply go to the homepage. There you will fill out a questionnaire asking your point of departure, target destination, the dates of departure and return, the travel class, and the number of passengers. Once you do so, you will be given a list of all the available flights according to your needs. You can then choose which flight you want from the list. Go through the booking process and then you are done. If you need to make any modifications to your booking, you may also do so at the website.
Ways to Save Money
Etihad offers fare choices so that you can fly on a budget or travel in style. Tailor your journey to fit your needs. If you are looking for great deals, look no further than its Deals page. You could also subscribe to the Etihad newsletter for exclusive deals and offers from the airline. Etihad also gives a Best Price Promise guarantee. With this promise, the airline assures you that you will not find a lower price from another third-party website for the same booking on etihad.com. If you do, the airline will refund the difference. The airline also has an Etihad Guest program which you can join, where you can earn miles every time you fly Etihad.

Existing flight bookings with Etihad can be modified in a couple of ways. If the ticket was purchased from a travel agent or a third-party website, contact them directly to modify your flight. For partially used tickets, you can either contact the Global Contact Centres or one of Etihad’s local offices to make changes. You can also manage your booking online. If the ticket was purchased through Etihad.com, Global Contact Centres or local offices, you can manage your bookings on the website or by going back to the Global Contact Centres or local offices. Global Service Fees are charged if you go through the centers and local offices.
To cancel a booking, contact Etihad’s Global Contact Centres or its local offices. Cancellations can only be done through them. Global Service Fees will apply for any cancellations. For refunds, the rule of the Most Restricted Fare Choice will apply. If the booking being canceled is modified, the rules for the original ticket will apply. If the cancellation is done within 48 hours of departure, 5% will be added to the applicable refund fee.
