What These Numbers Mean
A code check is one result for one code. Most are our agents applying it to a real cart and reading the order total before and after; the rest come from tracked orders and from shoppers reporting back, as broken down above. Worked means the code was accepted and the total went down. Would not apply means discountmugs.com refused it on that cart. That is not the same as the code being fake. The usual reasons are:
- It expired or the store switched it off after it was published.
- It was single-use and had already been redeemed.
- It only covers certain categories, brands or individual products.
- The cart did not reach a minimum spend.
- It is limited to new customers, a first order, or an email sign-up.
- It cannot be combined with an active sale or another code.
- It is tied to a different country, currency or membership.
So a code that failed one check can still work on your cart, and the success rate (checks that worked divided by all checks) is best read as how easily DiscountMugs discounts apply in general, not as a verdict on any single code. Hover any bar in the chart to see that day on its own.

Before You Buy at DiscountMugs
What shoppers ask most about DiscountMugs.
›What items are excluded from promo codes?
Promo codes never apply to clearance items, markdown products, or already existing orders placed prior to the promotion. Coupons apply only to the merchandise unit price and exclude any setup or artwork fees.
›Can I stack multiple coupon codes on a single order?
No, DiscountMugs allows only one promo code per order, and codes cannot be combined with Mug Bucks. However, promo codes can be used alongside tiered bulk order discounts.
›Does DiscountMugs offer a price match guarantee?
No, DiscountMugs does not match competitor pricing post-purchase, though they feature factory-direct tiered pricing where the unit cost drops as order quantities increase.
›Why was my promo code rejected at checkout?
Codes may be refused if they are expired, misformatted, or applied to ineligible clearance merchandise. Additionally, billing information must precisely match bank records or error codes like Error 126 will halt transactions.
How We Verify DiscountMugs Codes
Nothing goes up here on trust. A DiscountMugs code is collected, applied to a real discountmugs.com cart, dated the last time it took money off an order, scored on what came back, and pulled once it stops clearing. Promotions have no code to run through a checkout, so those are dated when they go live and dropped when they lapse. Here is how far that has got on this page, and every change the agents logged along the way.
