Alamo’s loyalty program, Alamo Insiders, is simple but effective. Members get a 5% discount on every rental and access to special promotions, making it a must-join for frequent renters​

Alamo offers discounted rates on car rentals to US military members traveling for leisure. Book a reservation online or call customer service and ask about the military discount. When you pick up your rental vehicle, bring valid proof of service.

Alamo offers exclusive services and benefits to their customers who have disabilities. Please call  1-800-522-9292 for reservations if you are hearing impaired or using TTY devices.

If your travel plans change, or you need to make an adjustment to your reservation, you can do so without contacting Alamo customer service. In fact, much like the typical reservation and check-in process, most reservations and rentals can be altered online. Need to cancel? You can visit the “Modify Your Reservation” section of the Alamo website. As long as you cancel your reservation at least 24 hours before the date you originally needed the car, you can do this free of charge. If you have to cancel within 24 hours or less, you’ll be charged a flat cancellation fee. However, there is one exception to this policy. If you paid for your reservation in advance through Alamo’s “Pay Now” reservation plan, you’ll be charged $5 to cancel even if you do so before the 24-hour cutoff. A $10 fee no-show fee is charged if you don’t pick up your car at all as a “Pay Now” customer, but the rest of your purchase price will be refunded.
